Fire Station
The Bargo Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade Station is located on the corner of Avon Dam Road X Reservoir Road Bargo.
The station is open for training, maintenance and fire calls, as it is also open for community activities like the annual NSWRFS Open Day or community education for example.
If you see the shed door open, come say hello!

The Bargo Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade Fire Station is only manned during periods of extreme weather or for training/maintenance. If you wish to contact the brigade (for information, fund raising, membership, etc.), we can be contacted through the Wollondilly Rural Fire Service.
The Wollondilly Rural Fire Service Fire Control Centre managers all brigades within the Wollondilly District.
The office is located at 65 Bridge Street in Picton and are open during business hours from Monday to Friday.

Enquiries about Major Fires
During major incidents, lines may become inundated or resources used for operations.
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service offers an online service for Major Fire Updates as well as the hotline 1800 NSW RFS.
Other sources of information include News Updates on Television and Radio (ABC Television/News24, ABC Radio, C91.3FM and 2ST are some good sources). It would also be advisable to keep an eye on signs, like smoke direction, as this would be the most "to the second" information available to you.
